Isabelle Cassin provides expertise in advice and litigation in the fields of development and urban planning (urban planning authorisations, urban planning documents, development operations, development taxation, expropriation and pre-emption…), real estate and the environment, and more generally in public business law. She has developed recognized competencies in commercial urban planning.
Isabelle Cassin has been a lawyer at the Paris Bar for over twenty years, and co-founded Genesis Avocats in 2007 after working as an associate, then as a partner, in a Parisian firm specialized in public law and environmental law.
She acts for large public and private operators in major projects (office properties, commercial complexes, tourist equipment, transport infrastructures…) involving mixed issues of urban planning, public law and environmental law, in which she has developed particular expertise.
She is a reputed expert and is passionate about law and litigation strategy. She has been lecturing at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Urban planning Masters) for twenty years and regularly teaches development and urban planning law. She has published a book on local urban planning.
